Restaurants & Drinks

VAIl

Mountain Standard
Mountain Standard has recently swept Vail’s A-List of restaurants with a frenzy bordering a cult. This trendy, rustic and relaxed tavern on the Gore Creek promenade is the perfect place to enjoy lunch and dinner for anyone with a diverse palate looking for some of Vail’s best contemporary-with a twist fare. The dishes here pack powerful flavors. They take pride in their vast array of unique starters, as well as the changing daily specials.

Matsuhisa Solaris
This Chef Nobu restaurant is situated on the second level of Vail’s Solaris complex with incredible views of Vail Mountain, a great atmosphere and outdoor seating. Their hot dishes are to be enjoyed as much as the sushi, including favorites such as the black cod with miso, king crab tempura, and sea bass with truffle. They also feature a daily chef’s choice Omakase menu.

Sweet Basil
Sweet Basil, the original sister restaurant to Mountain Standard, is a popular spot whether you're grabbing a cocktail at their lively bar, enjoying lunch or sitting down for a fabulous dinner. Their seasonal menu of contemporary American cuisine doesn't disappoint, and they serve a great variety of meats, poultry and fresh veggies.

Yeti's Grind
A coffeehouse that loves to pour a great latte and serves baked goods and other snacks.

Joe's Famous Deli

Root and Flower Wall Street
50 by-the-glass pours of wine, an extensive bottle selection, craft classic cocktails, and an ever changing food list distinguish Root and Flower as one of Vail’s most versatile watering holes.

Vail Brewing Co. Solaris
Handcrafted brews with a creative touch from big hoppy beers, traditional styles, blends, and even cask-conditioned ales and lagers made using mountain fed water and the finest ingredients. The selection of fine beers constantly changes with staple beers appearing over time, and when available, they use locally sourced hops and malts.

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory
A classic. The best and most indulgent caramel chocolate-covered apples. Get your sweet fix here.

Some people can't live without Starbucks. We get it. If artisanal coffee isn't your thing, their classic dark roast, skinny cinnamon dolce frappuchinos and passion fruit iced teas are a tall, grande and venti cup away.

Across from Tavern on the Square sits Vail Chophouse, both at the base of the Eagle Bahn Gondola. The restaurant similarly features a versatile menu selection for lunch and dinner and outdoor seating.

A lively and super casual Italian eatery offering a versatile menu of NY style pizza, in addition to appetizers, salads, subs and hot entrees.
